Introduction of experimental and industrial methods of zinc oxide
Zinc oxide is widely used. It is made by industrial method and laboratory method. Here are two sides.
First, laboratory method
According to the principle of electrolysis, zinc is electrolyzed into zinc hydroxide in water and then decomposed to obtain active zinc oxide.
These methods are helpful for us to understand zinc oxide, and learn a lot of principles, such as electrolysis, physical impurity removal, sublimation crystallization, etc., and can also be used in the production of other oxides
Second, industrial law
1. Indirect method
The pure metal zinc is evaporated at a high temperature of about 1000 degrees to form steam, which contacts oxygen in the air and produces zinc oxide by chemical reaction. When the temperature is reduced, particles will be formed and zinc oxide will be obtained by cooling the container.
2. Direct method
Zinc oxide can also be obtained by indirect manipulation of zinc containing compounds without pure zinc.
3. Chemical Hydrometallurgy
Zinc salt water is prepared by chemical reaction, and the precipitate is sintered at high temperature after filtration, washing, drying and other physical methods.
